New “A” at Space City Fencing!
Space City Fencing’s Fencers just came back from Kansas NAC where Benjamin Parkins did wonderful job finishing 5th place junior event earning his “A” 2005!
If that wasent enough, two days later he took 5th place again in the open mix foil – he was the only American besides the the US Olympic team to make the finals and the ONLY junior or cadet make it to the final.
Ben wasen’t alone in his success, Cathy Mcdemott placed top 32 in the Junior Women’s Foil, and Neely Brandfeild-Harvey placed top 32 in the junior women’s epee event.
