Space City Fencing is a fencing academy here in Houston. Our school is happy to offer recreational fencing as well as competitive fencing. We’re proud to provide classes and prepare our students for tournaments in the area.
Fencing Tournament Preparation
Our teachers love to work with students of all walks of life. We love helping our competitive students reach their ambitious goals of reaching national titles or even getting Olympic Medals.
We’ll get you fully ready for your first tournament. This includes more than teaching you how to fence and providing you with practice. Preparation for a tournament also includes:
- Finding or hosting a tournament
- Give you a list of the gear you need
- Teach you how to inspect your gear
- Guide you through each round
- Show you warm up techniques to keep from getting hurt
If you have any questions, be sure to ask us. Our teachers are happy to help you any way we can. You won’t have to feel nervous at any of the tournaments you attend, because our teachers will help you fully prepare.
