Battle in Space City: Spring Showdown Is Here!
Battle in Space City returns to Houston on April 11–12, 2026, bringing with it one of the most exciting fencing weekends of the season. Hosted at the University of Houston’s Campus Recreation and Wellness Center, this Spring Showdown will feature a full lineup of ROC, RJCC, and RYC events, drawing top competitors from across the region. Whether you’re stepping onto the strip or cheering from the sidelines, it’s set to be a high-energy weekend you won’t want to miss.

Age Eligibility
Y8 = 2017-2019
Y10 = 2015-2018
Y12 = 2013-2016 (or on Y10 NRPS)
Y14 = 2011-2014 (or on Y12 NRPS)
CADET = 2010-2013 (or on Y14 NRPS)
JUNIOR = 2007-2013 (or on CADET NRPS)
ROC = Born 2013 or earlier (or on Junior NRPS)

Check-In
1. Venue opens 7:00AM each day. We recommend arriving at least 1 hour before close of check-in.
2. Proof of current USA Fencing membership.
3. All fencers must sign a WAIVER to enter the facility. Parents DO NOT need to fill in that waiver anymore. Please click here to download the waiver and sign it before arriving to speed up check-in process.
4. All fencers must have USA Fencing membership card or clearly legible copy to use Auto Check-In feature.
5. Fencers must check in everyday they compete.
