This past weekend, a dedicated Space City fencer made the trip to Chicago to compete at the prestigious Fencing Center of Chicago ROC/RJCC and came home with an impressive set of results.

Leading the way was DJ Teh, who delivered a standout performance in the Junior event, earning a bronze medal after battling through a highly competitive field. His result not only secured a spot on the podium but also renewed his C rating for 2026, a testament to his consistency and growth on the strip.

DJ didn’t stop there.

Competing across multiple divisions, he continued to showcase his versatility and determination:

7th place in Division II
11th place in Division I-A

Taking on multiple events in a single tournament is no small feat, and DJ’s ability to remain competitive across divisions highlights both his endurance and skill.

The Fencing Center of Chicago continues to host some of the strongest regional competitions in the country, making this achievement even more meaningful against top-tier opponents.

Space City Fencing congratulates DJ on an outstanding weekend and looks forward to seeing his continued success throughout the season.
